During the Planning Commission’s regular meeting on August 22, 2019, the Commission made a motion to forward a Resolution to City Council to amend their meeting start times. On August 26, 2019, City Council approved the Resolution to amend the Planning Commission Rules and Procedures to modify the meeting start time. Meetings will still take place every second and fourth Tuesday of the month in Council Chambers at City Hall.
The Planning Commission cited a desire for consistency with the City Council’s start time of 6 p.m. as reason for the amendment.
The Planning Commission is a 7-member, non-partisan committee appointed by the City Council. The Commission assists the Community Development Services Department in the execution of its duties, including holding quasi-judicial and legislative public hearings.
