NOTICE OF FINAL ACTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION
Notice is hereby given that on September 24, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Blaine City Hall, 435 Martin Street, Suite 4000, the Blaine City Council will consider taking final action by approval and passage of an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to direct the City Attorney to commence condemnation (eminent domain) proceeding to acquire a portion of certain property with a Whatcom County Assessor parcel numbers: 410133-203201-0000 and 410133-335202-0000.
The parcel with Whatcom County Assessor parcel number 410133-335202-0000 is generally legally described as:
The NW Quarter of the SE Quarter of Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 1 East of the W.M., situate in Whatcom County, Washington.
The parcel with Whatcom County Assessor parcel number 410133-203201-0000 is generally legally described as:
The NE Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and the West 20 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, except H Street Road along the South line thereof, Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 1 East of the W.M., situate in Whatcom County, Washington.

The Robert D. Martin Family L.L.C. owns the properties that would be affected by the condemnation.
Gordon and Marcia Thomas are shown on the Whatcom County Tax Rolls to own the mineral and oil rights under the property with the Whatcom County Tax Parcel Number of 410133-335202-0000.
