Overview
The Hearing Examiner provides impartial administration of quasi-judicial land decisions as determined by the Blaine Municipal Code (BMC 2.58). The duties of the Hearing Examiner are to:
- Hold public hearings and review all Planned Unit Developments and Long Plats and make recommendations to the City Council.
- Serve as the final decision-making authority over Shoreline Substantial Development Permit applications, Land Use Variances, and Conditional Use Permits
