Community Conference

Purpose

A community conference is an informal public meeting hosted by an applicant. The purpose of the meeting is to provide early and informal notification to the public, to generate discussion, and make the proponent aware of community concerns relative to the proposed project. It is intended to provide a means by which the applicant, staff, and the public are able to work together in a productive and creative manner. However, options and issues raised may not be all-inclusive and no decisions or guarantees on the project design or outcome are made.

October 20, 2021: Mott’s Hill Overlook Plat

A Community Meeting held by Land Development Engineering & Surveying, Inc. and Skeers Construction to present a Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Preliminary Plat for the 16 acres of Property located East of the Vista Terrace single family plat, north of H street, south of E Street, and east of Terrace Avenue in Blaine Washington will be held on Wednesday October 20, 2021 from 6 PM to 7:00 PM.

The preliminary plan includes the development of 54 single family residential units with 2.5 acres of usable open space as well as the community trail corridor identified through the Non-Motorized Plan through site, connecting H Street and Mott’s Hill Parkway, and the Community trail corridor shown through Jerome Street, connecting H Street and Mott’s Hill Parkway.

Interested parties are invited to attend and provide input on the preliminary plan.
